ENJOY THE VACATION OF A LIFETIME
Sunset at Polo Beach, three minutes from Grand Champions Villas. Take a bottle of crisp white wine, beach chairs and your flip-flops. Park behind the Kea Lani Hotel and take the path to this beautiful little crescent of beach for fabulous sunset views.
During the day, try boogie boarding at Polo Beach. It’s a great place to ride the waves for first-timers because the beach gradually tapers. A small reef on the south edge is also a good snorkeling spot.
Start your day early with a walk along Keawakapu, two minutes away from Grand Champions. If you want a short walk, this one is about half a mile up and back. But it connect to a chain of other beaches that takes you past the great hotels, where you can get a bottle of water or breakfast or even a salon or spa treatment.
Your guests will be comfortable in their own air-conditioned room, with TV, full bath and vanity.
You can see the tennis courts from your lanai. Known as Wimbledon West, the Wailea Tennis Club is located adjacent to Grand Champions. You might hear the soft thwack of a ball off a racket when you are outside sipping a latte as the sun warms the morning. In the evening, after a long day of relaxing, consider dinner at Joe’s Bar and Grill, located at the tennis club. (The bartender there told us that they might even pick you up at your condo in a golf cart if they’re not too busy.)
The master bedroom has garden and ocean views and a king-size bed. It also has a great, two-person shower and double vanity.
Watch the windsurfers at Ho’okipa just minutes from the airport, AFTER a ridiculously tasty lunch at Mama’s Fish House on the beach a few minutes from the windsurfing area.
After traveling overseas, you might enjoy the view under seas at one of Maui’s wonderful snorkeling beaches.

At the Maui Ocean Center, get a glimpse of life in the ocean, where sharks swim with humuhumunukunuku’apua'a .
This place is one of the island’s treasures and worth a visit, about
30 minutes from Grand Champions at Ma’alea on the way to Lahaina.
